Description:
Artist Alykhan Velji has put a playful spin on the traditional checkerboard motif. Orderly squares aren’t so rigid anymore - their borders have softened into an informal, convivial weave where quadrangles are stretched and warped into casually imperfect forms. The pattern is textured with a vibrant watercolour effect that adds complexity, depth and character to relaxed spaces.
