We asked our friend Geert Decock to do something fun and cool with Rollout's 2nd floor office wall. Geert went rummaging for inspiration inside 1950s and 60s-era Hawaiian vintage retro, and landed on a simple banana-leaf motif. With a vision to bring his familiar street-art toolbox into the realm of interior design, Geert cut his stencil, and spent a day on the ladder to spray-paint the wall. His seasoned technique combined layers of under- and overspray to create a unique effect that's rare in the world of digital print. The pattern was such a hit that we gave it a name and added it to the catalogue. Bananarama is a breezy escape to tropical yesteryear.
