Leaves from a banana tree are paired into couples, arranged into repeating diamonds, and densified with a cross-hatch surround. The repeating tile is further enhanced by a fence of diagonal lines that strive to contain each leaf-pair. The result creates a sensation of liberal chaos in this dynamic pattern by artist Gabrielle Lasporte.
