Rollout is proud to partner with Emergent Layer Conservation Society to present a spectacular series of murals that document the legacy of old-growth forests using advanced LiDAR technology. These high resolution graphics visualize the ancient Ts'sey' trees that grow along the Sunshine Coast of western Canada -- woodlands that thrive on the traditional, ancestral, and unceded territories of several indigenous Nations. Emergent Layer works within and among these communities to document their old-growth ecosystems and the mystical spaces they engender. Thousands of oversized square pixels inhabit precise and unique spacial locations, capturing intricate details of topography, line, shape, and volume. This innovative digital pointillism renders organic plant-life as a low-poly visual symphony, helping designers create mysterious and otherworldly interiors.
