Stromatolites are the oldest fossils on earth at over three billion years old, and are thought to be responsible for oxygenating the atmosphere. A truly incredible marvel of ancient history that is as captivating as it is other-worldly. This mineral is thought to be grounding and aid in self-reflection. This high resolution photographic image is taken from a Malagasy specimen supplied by our friends at Crystalworks.ca. It attunes to the root (1st) and hearth (4th) chakras.
