Inspired by the varied life of William Morris, English artist, writer, utopian socialist, and decorative arts master, this design serves as a visual mantra to the Rollout studio, as well as a nod to the core ideals on which our firm is built. In an effort to illustrate our constant embrace of craft and ornamentation often overlooked by modernism, we created this mural as our take on the future. This vision looks to the past and reflects on the origins of wallpaper with muted graphics, along with an original Morris quote set in a typeface of his design. Through developed expertise, we are able to capitalize on the printing process in order to reinterpret existing Morris imagery to arrive at an end result that keeps us driven, and our clients reaching out to unlimited creative possibilities.
