This playful pattern was inspired by found objects, vintage textiles, and hand-painted ceramics discovered during Ryan Tomkinson’s excursions into the Southern California desert. “I’m continually mesmerized by the simple, baron vastness of the Mojave landscape. This design mimics the weathered and distressed patinas found in the southwest, and tells the story of a non-so-new frontier.”
