Calgary’s science centre, Telus Spark, opened in 2011 with a mandate to integrate both art and creativity into the ways people engage with science, technology, engineering and math. Spark is purpose built and LEED certified. It houses the largest dome theatre in western Canada, and attracts hundreds of thousands of visitors per year.

In 2021, Rollout was invited to customize certain designs from our catalogue to refresh the centre's Kids & Education spaces. We carefully adjusted colours, gradations, and opacities from several of our patterns, seeking to align them with the existing carpets. In the process, we discovered that both Spark and Rollout share the same values: Creativity, Collaboration, Curiosity, Courage, and Commitment.
